Welcome to the Technical Center for High-Performance Valves at Dong-A University.

Since its establishment in 2008, the Center has provided testing and evaluation services, conducted R&D, and offered professional training in valves and related mechanical components, helping companies strengthen their innovation capabilities and contributing to the competitiveness of Korea's machinery industry.

The Technical Center for High-Performance Valves ensures valve reliability and supports the advancement of hydrogen technologies.

Since receiving KOLAS accreditation in 2010, the Center has continued to strengthen its global testing capabilities through designation as an approved testing laboratory by KR and ABS, expansion of its KOLAS accreditation scope in hydrogen-related fields, and international cooperation with TNO in the Netherlands.

The Center currently provides KOLAS-accredited testing services across six fields and 18 accredited test items, including cryogenic, high-pressure gas, hydrogen, and fire safety testing, supporting companies in ensuring product reliability and obtaining domestic and international certifications.

The Center has also carried out 58 national R&D projects with total R&D funding exceeding KRW 32 billion, leading the localization of valves and related equipment for hydrogen energy applications.

Its key R&D activities include establishing accredited testing systems for ultra-high-pressure hydrogen gas equipment, developing test procedures for core liquid hydrogen components, and securing technologies for international transport containers.

The Center will continue to grow as an integrated platform connecting testing, R&D, certification, and technical support for the next-generation hydrogen industry, from gaseous hydrogen to liquid hydrogen.
